LANCE WYMAN: Walker Art Center 2014 Insights Design Lecture Series (remote streaming)

2014 Walker Art Center Insights Design Lecture Series: AIGA Chattanooga Viewing Party! In the month of March, the Walker Art Center and AIGA Minnesota are presenting four talks by some of the world’s most adventurous graphic designers. The Insights series brings leading designers from around the world to the Walker to share the thinking, processes, and methods behind their work. This year, don’t miss your chance to see design legend Lance Wyman (New York City), cultural designer Sara De Bondt (London), “conceptual entrepreneur” Martine Syms (Los Angeles), and Sweden’s premier graphic designer, Henrik Nygren (Stockholm).

For folks like us who don’t live in Minneapolis and can’t make to the series, the Walker and AIGA Minnesota are live streaming each event. We’re taking advantage of this by hosting live viewing party for each event at Tubatomic studio. We’ll provide some themed snacks and drinks inspired by each speaker. We’ll follow up each presentation with an opportunity for discussion.

Lance Wyman The series kicks off this Tuesday with Lance Wyman who’s famously known for his design of the 1968 Mexico Olympic visuals. AIGA Chattanooga will supply the Mexican beers and snacks. Tickets are free, but you need to sign up at our eventbrite to get in on the fun. Details: Tuesday, March 4th Doors open at 7:45pm Presentation starts at 8:00pm A local discussion will follow the presentation
